ISLAMABAD: Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Ata Tarar has made the shocking statement that Ali Amin Gandapur was removed by Imran Khan for refusing to cooperate with the terrorists, and instead, the PTI brought in Sohail Afridi to facilitate the terrorists.
Speaking at a press conference in Islamabad, Ata Tarar, while interjecting with references to various past actions of Imran Khan, accused the entire leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of nurturing and giving support to the terrorists. He brought up Khan’s earlier statements where he had called the terrorists “good folks” and had been promoting dialogue and rehabilitation of these people.
Tarar condemned the PTI lead person’s time and said, he made it so that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) would be sheltering the terrorists from all over the world and they would be living among the locals. He went on to say that the issue of the political battle in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is this matter. He added that Ali Amin Gandapur was the one to be ousted for not coming quite up to PTI’s expectations in his dealings with the terrorist.
Tarar claimed that Ali Amin was put under pressure to back the terrorists completely but he refused to do so, and that was the reason for his dismissal. He further stated that, as a close comrade of the controversial Murad Saeed and a person with a soft spot for terrorists, Sohail Afridi was the one to replace him in order to oversee the total facilitation of the terrorist activities.
Federal Minister cautioned that the central government will continue to prevent activities of that nature from happening and reiterated that the security strategies of Pakistan are decided in Islamabad, not in Kabul. He communicated that the PTI and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa authorities should not be in any doubt about this point.
Tarar praised the deaths of the soldiers, calling them “a steel wall” between the militants and the civilian population, and he added that they can no longer control the area thanks to their power and not for their might.

Speaking about a recent decision of the court in London, Ata Tarar said that the decision has revealed the PTI’s line of argument. He mentioned that PTI members are not in a position to denounce either Pakistan or its army from abroad as they have been beaten both in Pakistan and in international courts and thus they have no argument.
