Journalist Syed Talat Hussain cautioned that the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) planned nationwide protests could create an environment conducive to terrorist activity, at a time when security forces are engaged in intensified counterterrorism operations.

In a post on X, he said that as PTI prepares for countrywide demonstrations, militant groups appear to be positioning themselves to exploit the situation, warning that the terrorism war’s planners are lining up their supply chains of mayhem.

Hussain praised law enforcement agencies for their recent operations, noting that more than 108 militants had been killed across major cities in Balochistan, and described the response as “fantastic”. He paid tribute to the martyrs and offered prayers for those injured.

He further claimed that hostile elements, including India and the Taliban, were pursuing a strategy aimed at carrying out large-scale attacks when political conditions are favourable.
