COLOMBO: Pakistan has set a 191 target for the United States team to win in the T20 World Cup 12th match while playing in the first innings.
In the match being played in Colombo, Pakistan batted first and scored 190 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated overs.
Opener Sahibzada Farhan played a brilliant innings of 73 runs off 41 balls, which included six fours and five sixes.
Captain Babar Azam scored 46 runs off 32 balls, while Saim Ayub returned to the pavilion after scoring 19 runs, and captain Salman Ali Agha scored only one run.
Shadab Khan played a quick innings of 30 runs, Mohammad Nawaz was restricted to 5 runs, Faheem Ashraf was dismissed for one run, and Usman Khan was run out for zero.
For the United States, Shadley Wayne took four wickets, while Mohammad Mohsin and Harmeet Singh took one wicket each.
The US team has included former Pakistan fast bowler Ehsan Adil in place of Ali Khan, while Pakistan has included spinner Usman Tariq in place of Salman Mirza.
Before the match, US captain Monanak Patel said that they will try to restrict Pakistan to a low score through good bowling and reminded that their team had shown a good performance against India in the previous match.
Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha said that the team will try to score a big score against the US and said that the team has been playing good cricket for a long time.
It should be noted that in Group A, Pakistan won its first match against the Netherlands by three wickets, while the US played a brilliant game against defending champion India but could not achieve success.
If Pakistan wins this match, it will come first in the group, while this match will prove to be very important for the US.
