COLOMBO: In an exciting match of the T20 World Cup, India has set a target of 176 runs for Pakistan to win.
The Indian batsmen struggled to score effectively in the early stages of the innings. Opener Abhishek Sharma was dismissed without scoring a run, caught by Pakistani captain Salman Ali Aghaz.
Following this, Ishan Kishan played a crucial innings, scoring 77 runs before being clean bowled by Saim Ayub. Tilak Verma fell victim to Saim Ayub as well, managing to score 25 runs, while Hardik Pandya was dismissed without scoring any runs. Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav further compounded the team’s issues by adding only 32 runs to the total.

Captain Salman Ali Agha announced that there would be no changes to the national team, maintaining the same lineup that played in the previous match.
On the other hand, Indian captain Surya Kumar revealed that two changes had been made to the Indian lineup, including the return of batsman Abhishek Sharma, which is expected to bolster the Indian batting order.
Before the match commenced, tensions rose again due to an incident where the Indian captain did not shake hands. This act was criticised by fans and observers as being against the spirit of cricket, sparking a debate on social media.
