SWAT: Assistant Commissioner Babuzai, Arham Mukhtar, along with Additional Assistant Commissioner Syed Imran Ali Shah and a team from the Halal Food Authority, seized unhygienic cold drinks from a truck and arrested the suspects involved.
The action was taken following information received from a citizen about the distribution of counterfeit cold drinks in Mingora city. During the operation, officials recovered a truckload of fake cold drinks, which were confiscated and destroyed on-site. An FIR has been filed against those responsible for this illegal activity.
In a statement to the media, Assistant Commissioner Mukhtar emphasised that this serves as a final warning to factories, transporters, distributors, and shopkeepers involved in the production of counterfeit and unhealthy products. He noted that such actions, which pose a threat to public health, will not be tolerated, and strict legal action will be pursued against violators without any leniency.

Additional Assistant Commissioner Syed Imran Ali Shah remarked that those who manufacture and sell harmful products are enemies of society. He assured the public that stringent and uncompromising measures will continue to be implemented against individuals who jeopardise public health, to permanently eliminate such illegal businesses.
