ABBOTTABAD: A delegation of university students from across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, currently participating in a winter internship with Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), visited the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul on Thursday.

During the visit, the students were given a comprehensive briefing on the academy’s rigorous professional military training, stringent discipline, and the structured leadership development process that defines the “Cradle of Leadership.” The briefing highlighted the historical significance of the institution and the critical role it plays in preparing young officers for their professional responsibilities in national defence.

The visiting students expressed profound admiration for the high standards of training and the unwavering patriotism displayed by the gentlemen cadets. In their interactions, the participants paid tribute to the professional excellence and the immense sacrifices made by the Pakistan Armed Forces in ensuring the sovereignty of the state.

The students remarked that seeing the high morale and discipline of the cadets firsthand has further strengthened their faith in the Pakistan Army, adding that it is clear that with such a dedicated force, no one can look at Pakistan with a “negative eye.”

The delegation further noted that the discipline and training modules at PMA are worthy of imitation for the youth in all professional spheres, emphasising that training in difficult situations increases courage and determination.

The visit concluded with the students expressing a renewed determination to serve the country and play an active role in national development. The internship program, organised by the military’s media wing, aims to bridge the gap between the youth and the armed forces while providing students with a closer look at the operational and educational environment of the military.

The participants thanked the academy administration for the exposure, stating that the visit provided them with a deeper understanding of the professional demands of defending the motherland.
