CHARSADDA: As many as two youths lost their lives in a deadly road accident that took place when two motorbikes collided with one another near the Government Postgraduate College in Prang area of Charsadda district.

According to eyewitnesses, the fatal accident occurred due to overspeeding, and both bikers breathed their last on the spot, and One other person sustained injuries and was hospitalized for treatment.

Local authorities started an investigation into the incident. This road mishap is a grim reminder of the dangers of overspeeding and the importance of road safety awareness, especially among youths who use motorcycles.

Earlier on Sunday, a tragic road accident occurred in Mansehra when a passenger vehicle lost control and tumbled into a deep ravine, resulting in the deaths of three people and leaving 15 others, including women and children, injured.

According to details, the tragic incident took place near Bhogarmang in the Siran Valley.

The local media reported that the driver reportedly lost control while navigating a sharp turn, causing the vehicle to skid off the road and plunge into the gorge.

The deceased passengers were identified as Muhammad Nazir, Sufyan and Zia Jan.

Following the incidents, the rescue team arrived at the site and shifted the injured 15 passengers, including three women and several children, to the District Headquarters Hospital in Mansehra. Hospital officials have confirmed that five of the injured are in critical condition.

Local authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident, while the injured continue to receive medical care.
