SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: Locals in South Waziristan said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, especially the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, has unfortunately focused on rallies and processions instead of paying attention to public issues.

Talking to Pakhtun Digital, they said that in today’s situation, the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are facing serious problems like health, education, employment, and law and order, but the PTI leadership is wasting time in political speeches and demonstrations instead of solving them.

The question arises that if the real goal is justice and struggle, then why doesn’t PTI protest in front of Adiala Jail instead of holding rallies in Peshawar? The public is getting the impression that Imran Khan is a “compromised prisoner” who is running the party’s affairs from jail. Unfortunately, our own constituency representatives, MNAs and MPAs from Waziristan are also busy only chanting Imran Khan’s slogans instead of raising their voices on public issues.

This behaviour is disappointing for the public, because even today, they are waiting for a solution to their basic problems, while the ruling class is prioritizing personal politics and the pleasure of the leader.

South Waziristan is one among the neglected districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where people travel 157 kilometres to seek justice due to a lack of buildings for the district judiciary, while its MNAs and MPAs are busy in rallies and processions.
