South Africa defeated India in the second match of the series after 25 years on its home ground.

South Africa defeated India by 408 runs in the second Test match. The visiting team South Africa had scored 489 runs in the first innings. Senoran Muthusamy scored 109 runs while Marco Janssen supported him by scoring 93 runs. In the first innings, the Indian team was all out for 201 runs, while despite the follow-on, the visiting team batted in the second innings and declared the innings by scoring 260 runs for 5 wickets.

It should be noted that South Africa defeated India by 30 runs in the first Test match. It should be remembered that South Africa had previously defeated India in a Test series on its soil in 2000.

it is also mentioned here that before this series, Pakistan had defeated South Africa by 7 wickets in the third one-day international series (ODI), for the first time on home ground, successfully clinching the three-match series.

In the match held in Faisalabad, Pakistan achieved the target of 144 runs set by South Africa in just 25.1 overs for the loss of three wickets. South Africa scored 143 runs in their allotted 50 overs, which Pakistan chased down with a total of 144 runs, losing just 3 wickets in 25.1 overs. With this victory, Pakistan took a decisive lead in the series, finishing 1-2.
