Sindh Culture Minister Zulfiqar Ali Shah and Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab announced that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi will be given a warm welcome when he arrives in Karachi, including being presented with an Ajrak.

During their meeting, they also discussed plans to transform Heritage Street into a food street in collaboration with the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC).

The Culture Minister emphasized the importance of protecting historical buildings, noting that any attempts by builders to demolish these structures are being actively prevented, even if some buildings are not officially classified as historical.

He commended the KMC team for its efforts, stating that they are working in alignment with the vision of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto.

These initiatives aim not only to preserve the city’s historical heritage but also to foster cultural and tourism development in Karachi, providing new entertainment and dining options for citizens.
