The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PT) secretary general, Salman Akram Raja, on Wednesday confirmed the major political development, stating that at the direction of the party founder, Imran Khan, Chief Minister, Ali Amin Gandapur, has been removed from the office and provincial minister Sohail Afridi has been nominated as the new chief executive of the province to lead Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf General Secretary Salman Akram Raja confirmed the removal of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from office and the nomination of Sohail Afridi as the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in his place.

Speaking to the media, Salman Akram Raja confirmed that it is indeed true that Sohail Khan Afridi will replace Ali Amin Gandapur as the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He further said that Imran Khan has expressed deep regret over the martyrdoms that took place today in Orakzai district.
