TikToker Romaisa Khan reveals she became a teacher at 17, taught boys just two years younger

Actress and TikToker Romaisa Khan revealed that she took up a job as a teacher at the age of just 17 and began teaching boys only a year or two younger than her in her very first year.

Romaisa Khan recently appeared on Hansana Mana Hai, a Television Show, where she shared an interesting story about working at a young age.

She said that when she was a second-year student, she wanted an iPhone to create social media content, but did not have enough money. To save for the phone, she decided to get a job at a private school as a teacher.

Romaisa explained that she was 17 years old when she got the job and was assigned to teach eighth-grade students. It was a boys’ school, and most of the students were around 15 or 16 years old, only slightly younger than her.

She humorously added that the eighth-grade boys were not really “kids” but rather full-grown, with some even having beards and moustaches.

Romaisa Khan said she faced challenges teaching students so close to her age, as she sometimes felt awkward disciplining them. “If I slapped one of them,” she joked, “the boys would be happy and tell each other, ‘The teacher touched me under the pretext of slapping.’”

She also revealed that some time ago, one of her former students messaged her on social media, saying he wanted to send his parents to her house. Upon checking, she realised he was one of her old eighth-grade students, but she chose not to reply.

During the show, the TikToker addressed him indirectly, saying, “I didn’t reply then, but now I’m sending you a message through TV, don’t do this, son.”
