MANSEHRA: The weather has once again taken a turn for the beauty in the upper parts of the country due to snowfall on the mountains and rain in the plains, which has increased the intensity of the cold and doubled the natural loveliness.
Intermittent rain has been continuing in all the valleys of Mansehra for the last two days, while snow has covered Naran, Bata Kundi, Babusar Top, and Saiful Malook Lake. The combination of snow and rain has added an extraordinary beauty to these tourist destinations, which is attracting locals and tourists in large numbers to see the natural scenery.
The first snowfall of the season was also recorded in various areas of Upper Dir, as a result of which the mountains were covered with snow. Snowfall in the Lowari Tunnel, Kumrat, and surrounding areas has significantly increased the intensity of the cold; however, the snow-covered landscapes have become an attraction for tourists.
Similarly, the mountain ranges of Kalam, Malam Jabba, and Mahodand are also hidden in a white layer of snow. On the other hand, sunny weather is witnessed in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Lahore, and various other cities of Punjab, due to which the weather has become pleasant but cold. After the rain, a decrease in temperature is being felt, and the intensity of the cold has further increased due to the blowing of cold winds.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of more snowfall in the upper areas while rain in the plains in the next few days, in view of which citizens and tourists have been instructed to take precautionary measures.
