SHANGLA: Six children were badly injured when stray dogs bit them in the Tehsil Puran area on Friday.

The incident occurred when a dog attacked the children of a religious seminary in the Chila Gram area of ​​Puran, in which six children were seriously injured. The dog had bitten most of the children on the face.

They were given ARV injections at the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital and were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital, Alpurai, for immunoglobulin vaccination. A local person of the area, Jan Muhammad, said that the stray dog ​​has created a very dangerous situation, and eight people, including six children in a single day.

Focal person of the hospital, Dr. Nazifullah, says that they have written to the TMA Puran, the Tehsil Administration Puran, and the district administration, but no one has taken any action yet, while TMA Puran says that this is the work of the Livestock Department and it will vaccinate these dogs.

According to him, the Livestock Department has not vaccinated the dogs yet. Last month, 342 patients came to us who were bitten by dogs, while in the last two days, more than 20 people came to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Puran, as dogs had bitten them in different areas, most of them children.

Meanwhile, 11 people were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in a semi-conscious state after consuming poisonous food in the Banju Sar area of ​​Tehsil Puran of Shangla. They were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Puran in a semi-conscious state after consuming food at the house of Sarbuland, son of Amirzada, in Banju Sar.

The stomachs of all the people were cleaned in the hospital on the spot. According to Medical Superintendent Dr. Tariq, the condition of all the patients is out of danger at the moment, and they are under the supervision of doctors in the hospital. It is hoped that all the affected people will be discharged by tomorrow.

The focal person of the hospital, Dr. Nazifullah, said that the condition of the patients had deteriorated due to some unknown food, which caused everyone to vomit, and one serious child was shifted to Saidu Sharif Hospital, Swat, after first aid. The head of the affected family thanked the local hospital staff for the timely action that saved the lives of all 11 affected people.
