PESHAWAR: Security forces killed a terrorist named Ziauddin, also known as Ibrahim Idrees, during a successful operation in the Kausar area of Bajaur.
According to sources, Ziauddin was involved in several high-profile target killings. He was reportedly a facilitator in the murder case of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Rehan Zeb and was directly involved in the murders of Awami National Party leader Maulana Khan Zeb, Mir Azam Khan, Deputy Commissioner Nawgi, and several police personnel.
Security sources indicate that Ziauddin was affiliated with the banned organisation ISIS and had participated in various terrorist operations.

The Awami National Party (ANP) tehsil leader was gunned down by unknown assailants near the Khazana turn in Bajaur.
According to the police, Malik Mir Azam Khan, the vice president of the Awami National Party for Tehsil Khar chapter, was on his way home when unidentified armed men opened indiscriminate fire, killing him instantly.
The Rescue 1122 officials said that the assailants targeted him from a motorcycle. Malik Mir Azam Khan sustained a gunshot wound to the head, resulting in his death at the scene.
The Awami National Party has expressed deep sorrow over the incident and demanded a thorough investigation and the apprehension of those responsible.
Two months ago, Maulana Khanzeb, a former candidate and provincial office bearer of the Awami National Party, was shot dead in his hometown of Bajaur.
