LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has revealed financial bonuses for the national women’s cricket squad following their great home ODI series against South Africa.
According to details, Chairman Naqvi praised the team’s performance during a visit to Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and especially acknowledged star batter Sidra Ameen, who hit consecutive centuries. PKR 2 million would go to Sidra Ameen in gratitude; each of the other team members will get PKR 1 million.
With 121 and 122 runs respectively, Sidra Ameen had two match-winning innings that helped Pakistan defeat a strong South African team in a remarkable triumph.
Talking to the players, Mohsin Naqvi urged the squad to approach the approaching ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup, scheduled for Commence on September 30 with Sri Lanka vs. India’s opening game.
