Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s parliamentary leader from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shahid Khan Khattak, has announced a boycott of Azad Digital, making a false and baseless allegation that the said platform is continuously reporting negatively and biasedly against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Azad Digital claims that Shahid Khan Khattak’s allegation and claim of ‘If you tell the truth and show it, you will be offended’ is baseless and false. Azad Digital is an impartial journalistic digital platform that fully represents every segment of life and political and social characters and leaders and presents their positions and narratives impartially to the public with facts.

In response to a question from a reporter from ‘Azad Digital’ on Thursday, Shahid Khan Khattak reacted strongly and said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf does not need to rely on any one platform to express its position in the media, to which the reporter from Azad Digital said “we give PTI as much time as anyone else”, however, Shahid Khan Khattak said that now they their own YouTubers and digital platforms, through which PTI will convey its narrative directly to the public. Accusing Azad Digital, Shahid Khan Khattak said that negative reporting against PTI is done on this platform all day long.

He called Azad Digital a ‘black channel’ and announced that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf completely boycotts this institution, to which the reporter from Azad Digital said that they personally answer the questions we ask him and convey them to the public through our platform.

Why do you feel that you are being treated in a biased manner? However, despite this, the PTI leader claimed that now no leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will give an interview to Azad Digital, nor will any statement or narrative be issued through this platform. He said that the party leadership has completed consultations in this regard, and in the future, the party’s position will be conveyed to the public only through its approved media channels and digital platforms.
