PESHAWAR (Rani Andaleeb): In a significant administrative move, eight Acting Charge Executive Engineers in the Public Health Engineering Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been promoted to permanent positions following the formal approval of the Chief Minister.
The promotions, which take effect immediately, were finalised based on the recommendations of the Provincial Selection Board-2 (PSB-2), reclassifying the officers as Executive Engineers (BS-18).
The list of promoted officers includes Syed Azam Shah, Shahzad Khan, and Zia-ur-Rehman, among others, currently serving across the province. These officials are posted in various regions, including Shangla, Bajaur, Karak, Swat, North Waziristan, Chitral Upper, and Malakand. According to the official notification, all promoted officers will remain on probation for a period of one year.
In a related development, a decision has been made to retain Muhammad Zubair Khan as Deputy Director (Technical) on deputation. These administrative changes are aimed at improving overall departmental efficiency and ensuring better service delivery to the public across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
