PESHAWAR (Muhammad Ijaz Afridi): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police on Wednesday reshuffled several senior police officers, including district police officers.
According to a notification issued by KP police, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued an order for transfers and postings of police officers in the province.
According to the notification issued, DPO Swabi Ziauddin Ahmed has been transferred and posted as DPO Dera Ismail Khan.
According to the notification, DPO Bajaur Waqas Rafique has now been appointed as the new DPO Swabi, while SSP Coordination Peshawar Muhammad Khalid has been posted as DPO Bajaur.
Similarly, DPO DI Khan Sajjad Ahmed Sahibzada and AIG Logistics Muhammad Ayaz have been directed to report to CPO Peshawar, from where their further posting will be decided. According to the police department, all these transfers will be effective immediately in the public interest and administrative necessity.
