The coordinated attacks by terrorists in various areas of Balochistan were successfully thwarted by security forces due to their timely intervention.
According to security sources, gunfire was directed at a police post in the Nowsar area of Quetta, to which the police responded promptly and effectively.
In another incident, the attackers fired an Under Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL) and targeted the Mian Ghandi location. However, they managed to escape because of the swift response from security forces.
Additionally, there was an attempt to ambush a police patrol near the Western Bypass in Quetta using a UBGL, which was also foiled by the police, with no reported casualties.
An FC post near the Spalinji area of Mastung came under remote fire, but the forces responded effectively. An attack on an FC post in the Litter area of Kharan was likewise repelled.
Security officials report that the forces are on high alert and fully prepared to handle any potential threats.
