Security forces foiled a coordinated attack by Fitna-ul-Hindustan terrorists in Kharan district of Balochistan, killing 8 terrorists.

According to security sources, 50 to 60 terrorists belonging to Fitna-ul-Hindustan entered Kharan city on motorcycles and carried out coordinated attacks at different locations.  A group of terrorists, consisting of 20 to 25 people, attacked Kharan police station to confuse the police. There was a fierce exchange of fire at the police station, which continued for some time.

Meanwhile, another group of terrorists targeted banks and other targets in the city and tried to spread fear and panic among the citizens. According to security sources, there were also reports of looting by the terrorists. Security forces immediately cordoned off the area and launched a clearance operation. 5 terrorists were killed in the effective action of the security forces.

Meanwhile, security agencies also received information about the possible presence of terrorists in nearby areas and the arrival of reinforcements, on which the security forces also carried out an operation there, in which 3 more terrorists were killed. Search and clearance operations are still ongoing in the area by the security forces, while citizens have been instructed to stay in safe places and cooperate with the security agencies.

According to the authorities, the operation will continue until the complete elimination of the terrorists.
