Security forces killed 24 Khawarij members of the Indian proxy Fitna-ul-Khawarij in two separate intelligence-based operations in different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an intense exchange of fire took place between security forces and Khawarij during an intelligence-based operation in Orakzai district, resulting in the killing of 14 Khawarij members.
Security forces killed 10 Khawarij members in another successful intelligence-based operation in Khyber district. According to the ISPR, the operations were carried out effectively and professionally, during which there was no loss of life to the security forces.
The ISPR says that sanitization operations are underway to eliminate other Khawarij under Indian patronage in the area and the security forces are determined to completely eradicate terrorism from the country.
