DI KHAN: Security forces killed four Khawarij during an operation in the Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the Inter-Services of Public Relations, the operation was based on intelligence regarding the presence of Khawarij affiliated with the Indian proxy group Fitna-ul-Khawarij.

During the operation, security forces effectively targeted Khawarij hideouts, resulting in the elimination of four individuals following a fierce exchange of gunfire. The statement indicated that arms and ammunition were recovered from the deceased Khawarij, who were active in several terrorist operations in the region.

The ISPR reported that ongoing sanitisation operations are being conducted by security forces to eliminate any additional Indian-sponsored foreigners located in the area. Furthermore, a spokesperson for the Pakistan Army emphasised that the continuous anti-terrorism campaign by security forces and Pakistani law enforcement agencies under Operation Azam-e-Stafi will proceed at full capacity.
