Security forces killed 22 terrorists in a targeted operation against Indian proxy Fitnat-ul-Khawarij in Dera Ismail Khan district.

According to the ISPR, security forces have carried out a successful operation in Dera Ismail Khan based on intelligence information, as a result of which 22 terrorists belonging to Fitnat-ul-Khawarij were killed. The statement said that the successful operation was carried out on information about the presence of Fitnat-ul-Kharij terrorists, during which there was a heavy exchange of fire between the forces and Fitnat-ul-Khawarij.

According to the ISPR, 22 Khawarij were killed in the exchange of fire between the two sides, while clearance and sanitization operations are underway in the area. The statement said that security forces and law enforcement agencies are continuing the anti-terrorism campaign at full speed under the vision “Determination of Stability”.

Pakistani security forces killed at least 30 militants during military operations in the northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the past several days, the army’s media wing said on Thursday. Before this, on November 20, Security forces killed 23 militants in Kurram, four in Mohmand, two in Lakki Marwat, and one in Tank districts during military operations on Wednesday, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Pakistani forces have escalated their intelligence-based operations in multiple districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after recent attacks in the capital, Islamabad, and various parts of the province. Last week, a suicide bomber blew himself up outside the Judicial Complex in Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad, killing at least 12 people and injuring nearly three dozen others.

Earlier, militants attacked the Cadet College in the Wana region of the South Waziristan tribal district near the Afghan border. Security forces foiled the attack and killed all five militants who entered the college after a suicide bomber destroyed the main gate.
