Security forces killed 13 terrorists during operations in different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Bannu district on information about the presence of terrorists. During the operation, the security forces effectively targeted the hideout of the terrorists. Eight terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with the security forces.

Similarly, 5 terrorists were killed in another intelligence-based operation in Kurram district. According to the ISPR, security forces are continuing operations to eliminate the presence of more terrorists in the area. The Pakistan Army and law enforcement agencies are taking vigorous steps to eliminate foreign-sponsored terrorism under the vision of “Determination of Stability” with the approval of the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan.
