NORTH WAZIRISTAN: Security forces successfully foiled an infiltration attempt by terrorists near the Pak-Afghan border in the Spinwam area of North Waziristan.

According to official sources, 13 terrorists, including three suicide bombers, were killed during the operation.

Security officials reported that the clash occurred in the Hassan Khel area, where armed terrorists were attempting to cross into Pakistani territory. Acting on timely intelligence, the forces engaged the militants, neutralizing them before they could advance.

Among the dead were three wearing suicide vests, indicating plans for major attacks inside the country. The bodies of the slain militants have been taken into custody for identification and further investigation.

Military sources hailed the operation as a significant success against cross-border terrorist networks, reaffirming that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully vigilant to safeguard national security.

A senior official stated that Pakistan will not allow its soil to be destabilized by elements operating from across the border and that every such attempt will be met with a swift and decisive response.

He further added that the operation underscores the military’s continued commitment to maintaining peace and stability in the border regions.
