During the operation, two militants were killed, and their key positions were neutralized. Officials said the Pakistani military demonstrated professional expertise in striking the TTA’s critical hideouts, completely thwarting the infiltration attempt.
Security sources emphasized that forces remain vigilant in border areas to prevent any infiltration or terrorist activity, and operations will continue to safeguard the country’s peace and stability.
South Waziristan: 12 injured in Fitna Al Khwarij quadcopter attack on civilians
Earlier, Fitna Al Khwarij carried out a second attack in just a few hours targeting civilians in Azam Warsak, leaving 12 people including women and children seriously injured.
According to local sources, the attack was executed using a quadcopter aimed at a civilian home. The militants deliberately targeted innocent families to create fear and panic in the region.
Eyewitnesses said the assailants attempted to falsely link the incident to Pakistan’s security forces, spreading misleading narratives on social media. Officials and residents confirmed that the attack was carried out by the militant group Fitna al-Khawarij, which has previously staged similar propaganda campaigns against state institutions.
The incident follows recent attacks on civilians in Miranshah and Wana, highlighting a worrying trend of militants deliberately targeting non-combatants.
Authorities and locals have urged the public to remain cautious of unverified reports circulating on social media and not to fall for the militants’ propaganda.
Residents emphasized that these attacks are aimed at sowing distrust between civilians and the state while creating instability in the region.
