Pakistan’s security forces have carried out a series of coordinated, intelligence-based operations across multiple districts in Balochistan, significantly disrupting the networks of the proscribed Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and reasserting operational control in key areas.

The operations were conducted across Panjgur, Kharan, Kalat, Mastung, Turbat, and Quetta, specifically targeting entrenched BLA infrastructure. According to security sources, the offensive inflicted heavy losses on the militant group, with 32 BLA terrorists eliminated, 17 injured, and 11 captured alive.

In a major tactical success in Panjgur, BLA commander Nazir, alias Chakar, was neutralised along with seven of his associates. Furthermore, precision strikes, including a drone strike in Kharan, destroyed a BLA vehicle and killed four militants on the spot.

Intelligence findings following the operations have shed light on the group’s external links. Captured terrorists revealed the use of cross-border infiltration routes via Kunar and Kandahar, indicating external facilitation. Additionally, the recovery of advanced American-origin weapons in Washuk and Kalat has pointed toward the existence of organised supply chains.

Officials stated that the operation has successfully degraded BLA capabilities, disrupted their logistics, and reinforced the state’s dominance across all operational domains in the region.
