TANK: Security forces conducted a successful intelligence-based operation in the Lalikhel area of Tank, during which a key Afghan Khawarij member, Abu Dujana, was killed in an exchange of fire.
According to security sources, Abu Dujana was a key figure responsible for preparing improvised explosive devices (IEDs). During the operation, two to three other Khawarij were injured and managed to escape through a drain.
Security sources further stated that a 30-kilogram IED was recovered from the area and promptly defused. Weapons, ammunition, suicide jackets, grenades, fake Pakistani identity cards, and other materials were also seized from the possession of the slain militant.
