PESHAWAR: Security forces killed 13 terrorists in various areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in timely and effective operations against terrorists.

These operations were carried out on the basis of intelligence information aimed at foiling major terrorist plans. According to the ISPR, the first operation was carried out in Bannu district where security forces killed three terrorists during a successful operation. The second major operation was carried out in Bara area of ​​Khyber district where 10 more terrorists were killed while acting on information about the presence of terrorists.

According to the spokesperson, the slain terrorists were planning sabotage operations in different areas and their hideouts have also been completely destroyed. Weapons and other equipment used by the terrorists were also recovered during the operations.

Security sources said that search operations are underway in view of the fear of the presence of more terrorists in the area and the forces are determined to completely eliminate the elements hostile to the country.

On the other hand, the local population has appreciated the timely and successful operations of the security forces and paid tribute to their role. Citizens say that these measures will further improve the law and order situation in the area and reduce the threat of terrorism.

The security agencies are determined to continue operations against terrorists without interruption to establish peace in the country and ensure the elimination of terrorism at all costs.
