NORTH WAZIRISTAN: Authorities have imposed Section 144 across the North Waziristan district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, resulting in the closure of all entry and exit routes as part of heightened security measures.
According to an official notification, these restrictions will be in effect from 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM. During this time, movement within the district will be limited, and access points will be sealed to ensure strict enforcement of the order.
Officials stated that Section 144 has been imposed to facilitate the movement and logistical operations of security forces. The measure aims to maintain law and order and support ongoing security activities in the area.
Residents are advised to cooperate with the authorities and adhere to the restrictions until the order is lifted. Security personnel have been deployed at key locations to monitor compliance and effectively manage the situation.
