PESHAWAR: The City district administration has imposed Section 144 during the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission examinations.
According to the notification, Section 144 has been imposed during the examinations of the Provincial Management Services and Excise Department of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission, under which the entry of unauthorized persons around the examination centres will be completely prohibited.
Candidates and relevant persons will be strictly prohibited from bringing weapons and prohibited items. According to the Deputy Commissioner of Peshawar, the purpose of the ban is to maintain law and order in the written examinations, discourage cheating, and make the examination environment transparent.
These restrictions will be effective from Thursday till December 4, 2025, and action will be taken against violators under Section 128 of the PPC.
It is to mentioning here that exams of the public service commission are held every year, also known as Provincial management services(PMS). The successful candidates, after passing through various stages, are being selected for the management group to serve in the district administration as assistant commissioner.
