Strict restrictions have been imposed under Section 144 in Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, due to which traffic will remain suspended in different areas of the city today.
According to the official notification, the restrictions will continue from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm today. During this, traffic will remain closed on Dera Tank Road from Tariq Shaheed to Bhagwwal. Similarly, instructions have been issued to keep Potta Hathala Bazaar closed from 6 am to 6 pm.
The Deputy Commissioner (DC) has clarified that ambulances, fire brigades and law enforcement agencies will be exempted from this ban. In case of emergency, limited movement will be allowed with the permission of the police or security forces.
Officials say that this measure has been taken to maintain law and order in the city, deal with possible emergencies and protect citizens. Citizens have been requested to strictly follow the instructions and avoid unnecessary travel to avoid any untoward incident.
