BEIJING: Chinese scientists have achieved a breakthrough in medicine as they have developed a bone glue, called Bone-02, that can mend shattered bones in under three minutes, without using metal plates, screws, or surgery.
Developed in Zhejiang province, the glue was developed after studying how oysters stick to wet surfaces naturally, and it sticks extremely well even in areas full of blood where other glues fail to work. The glue is directly injected into the fracture and instantly binds the bone fragments together.

Head orthopaedic surgeon Lin Xianfeng explained lab tests showed over 400 pounds of bonding strength, and over 150 patient trials have resulted in safe and successful results. Experts are calling it a game-changer for orthopaedic surgery.
