The father of Sari Lankan bowler Dunith Wellalage, who received five sixes at the hand of Afghan all-rounder Muhammad Nabi passed away due to cardiac arrest.

According to media reports, at the end of the match against Afghanistan, the team manager informed Dunith Wellalage of his father’s death. In the match played against Afghanistan yesterday, Dunith Velalage took one wicket for 49 runs in 4 overs. He sustained five sixes in one over at the hand of Muhammad Nabi an Afghan all-rounder.

It should be noted that in his fourth over against Afghanistan, Dunith Velalage was hit for 5 consecutive sixes by Afghan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi.
