DUBAI: Pakistani player Saim Ayub becomes the world’s number one all-rounder as the International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest rankings of players, according to which major changes have been seen in the Test, ODI, and T20 formats.

Pakistan’s Saud Shakeel has now become the world’s 9th-best batsman after moving up one place in Test cricket. England’s Joe Root is first in batting, New Zealand’s Kane Williamson is second, and Australia’s Steve Smith is third. Bowling: India’s Jasprit Bumrah occupies the first position, while Australia’s Mitchell Starc has moved up one place to second. Pakistan’s experienced spinner Noman Ali has been able to maintain his fourth position.

Indian batsmen continue to dominate the ODI format. Rohit Sharma remains at the top and Virat Kohli at the second position. Former captain Babar Azam is in sixth position in the list of ODI batsmen. Pakistani young batsman Saim Ayub has surprised the cricketing world by becoming the number one all-rounder in T20.

Sahibzada Farhan has dropped one place to sixth position. New Zealand’s Tim Seifert has managed to make it to the top 10. Spinner Abrar Ahmed continues to maintain his excellent performance at the fourth position.
