Pakistan’s opening batsman Saim Ayub has become the most expensive player in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) after being signed by the new franchise, Hyderabad, for a record Rs 12.6 crore.
The team has also included players Osman Khan, Akif Javed, and Moaz Siddiqui in its squad.
In a major move, Hyderabad has signed Australia’s Marno Lubbe as a direct signing and appointed him as part of the team’s lineup.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s star all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz, along with Salman Mirza, Ahmed Daniyal, and Saad Masood, have joined the Sialkot Stallions.
The new PSL franchise has released its retention list, which includes Australian batting star Steve Smith as a direct signing.
The player draft for PSL 11 is scheduled for February 11, during which all teams will finalize their squads ahead of the upcoming season.
