MOSCOW: Russian President Vladimir Putin has advised US President Donald Trump to end the war with Iran as soon as possible. Both the US and Russian leaders held a telephone conversation during which the Russian leader made several suggestions for the conclusion of the war with Iran.

Yuri Ushakov Putin’s foreign policy adviser, reported that the discussion included multiple global matters which included ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and the situation in Venezuela and the current condition of the worldwide oil market.

President Putin declared that the United States and Israel war against Iran has caused the worldwide energy crisis that currently exists.

Putin sent another message to Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei to congratulate him on his new role. In his message, Putin expressed his view that Khamenei would continue his father’s work with dignity and unity, especially during difficult times when Iran is being attacked by outsiders.

Putin stated that you will continue your father’s work with dignity while you unite the Iranian nation during these difficult times.

Trump claims war could end soon, US ahead of 4-5 week estimate

Earlier, President of the United States Donald Trump told CBS News that he believed the current war would end within a brief period of time.

In an interview with CBS News, President Trump said that the United States had achieved substantial progress which put them beyond his original estimate of 4 to 5 weeks required to end the conflict. The president made comments that showed a change in his expectations about how long the war would continue.

The interview has generated responses from both critics and supporters who expressed different views about the conflict and its current developments.
