NORTH WAZIRISTAN: Students from various areas of North Waziristan stuck and faced difficulties in reaching examination halls timely as major routes leading to educational institutions remained closed amid security concerns.

Students and parents told Pakhtun Digital that students from various areas, including Mir Ali, Shiwa, Razmak, and Datta Khel, are failing to reach the examination centre on time, which may waste their valuable time and sometimes result in failure of papers.

Bannu board’s Controller of Examinations, Safiullah Khan, expressing deep concern over the situation, has demanded that the higher authorities facilitate the movement of students during the examinations and keep the roads open. He said: “Students are our capital, any kind of obstacle or injustice to them is tantamount to hostility towards education. We demand that the administration take immediate steps.”

The students said that they appeal to the district administration and higher authorities to provide facilities for easy movement during exam times, so that we can take the exams continuously, because our future is linked to these exams.
