SHANLGA: Residents of Bisham Shangla on Wednesday blocked the Karakoram Highway (KKH) against the local station house officer (SHO) for the second murder incident that took place in broad daylight near the national bank in Bisham.
The residents gathered on the KKH at the crime scene soon after the shooting, while chanting slogans against the SHO Bisham for his failure and the second tragic incident that took place in the last two months concerning the local community.
Protesters said that it was the second incident of its kind due to the local police’s failure, and the same method was used in the crime. The accused fled the crime scene after committing the crime.
A man was killed by his enemies two months ago in the Bisham chowk and the accused had fled the scene after committing the crime in broad daylight.
What happened-
A man was shot dead in broad daylight near the National Bank Bisham branch on the KKH, and the accused managed to escape the place, while police reached the spot late as usual. However, before that, people blocked the KKH and staged a protest.
According to the police, a police constable from the Pazang area of Battagram was killed in the firing in the Battagram district a few months ago, and his family now took revenge by killing the man.
The local residents of Bisham demanded that the Inspector General of Police (IGP) take strict action on the cases and make the local police accountable for their failure to maintain the city safe for the citizens.
