SWAT: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rescue 1122, Swat station, has launched a motorbike mobile service in Mingora city to provide first aid to citizens and ensure rapid emergency services.

It was said by the Swat Rescue 1122 spokesperson here on Wednesday. Stating that under the special instructions of Director General Rescue 1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Tayyab Abdullah, and the supervision of District Emergency Officer Rafiullah Marwat, Rescue 1122 has officially launched a modern motorbike service in Mingora city and Matta Bazar. The primary objective of this service is to provide immediate first aid to citizens and ensure a quick response in emergencies.

District Emergency Officer Rafiullah Marwat stated that the motorbike service will patrol various areas of the city daily. In the event of an accident or emergency, rescue personnel will quickly reach the scene on motorbikes to provide first aid to those affected. The motorbikes will be equipped with all necessary first aid supplies and modern medical equipment to ensure timely and effective medical assistance.

Marwat emphasised that this initiative is a significant milestone in offering prompt services to the community, which will help save lives during emergencies. He also urged the public to report any accidents or emergencies by calling the helpline 1122 so that immediate relief efforts can be initiated. The community has expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Director General of Rescue 1122, viewing this service as a crucial step in facilitating prompt medical attention for the injured.
