Riots occurred during Chief Minister KP Sohail Afridi’s arrival at the Punjab Assembly, and the identification of those involved has been completed. A report detailing the findings has been sent to IG Punjab.

The investigation report prepared regarding the riots outlines that all individuals who caused the disturbance have been identified, and relevant documents and evidence have been included.

According to the report, some individuals who entered the assembly were unrelated to the proceedings and had previous convictions. They pushed past security personnel while entering with Chief Minister Afridi, violating discipline.

The investigation team has also recorded statements from assembly staff and eyewitnesses. Sources indicate that the report will recommend legal action against those involved, aiming to prevent similar incidents in the future and maintain order within the assembly.

This report addresses the Punjab Assembly riot incident, seeking not only to identify those responsible but also to implement preventive measures at both political and administrative levels.

The identities of the rioters have been confirmed through video evidence and other documentation, and immediate legal action is anticipated.
