PESHWAR: Wafaqi Mohtasib Secretariat Regional Office Peshawar has successfully redressed a number of public grievances against the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) and the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) during the mid-quarter of July, August, and September, providing substantial relief to the complainants.
These proceedings were carried out under the supervision of Mr Fawad Hanif, Director & Investigation Officer, Wafaqi Mohtasib Secretariat, Regional Office Peshawar.
Resolution of 15 cases against BISP, delivering a total monetary relief of Rs. 202,500.
Resolution of 1 pension-related case against PESCO, granting relief of Rs. 233,000 to the complainant.
The complainants expressed their appreciation for the timely and effective redressal facilitated through the forum of the Wafaqi Mohtasib.
The Regional Office reaffirmed its continued commitment to ensuring prompt resolution of public grievances, improved service delivery, and transparency in federal institutions.
