Prime Minister’s Adviser on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah said that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) could approach the courts if the have reservations about the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims).
Rana Sanaullah said PTI should behave like a political party, move the courts and present its stance through legal channels.
He also rejected reports claiming that the government had offered elections to PTI a year ago, terming such claims baseless. Rana Sanaullah said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had instead proposed a “Charter of Stability of Pakistan” on Independence Day.
The adviser further alleged that PTI had run a campaign in the United States through meetings and visitors, adding that the party’s conduct amounted to attempting to “bulldoze and blackmail” the state.
