The highly anticipated T20 World Cup 2026 match between Pakistan and India is set to take place in Colombo tomorrow. However, there are concerns that rain may interfere with the event, as forecasted by the Sri Lankan Meteorological Department.

A warning has been issued regarding a low-pressure system forming in the Bay of Bengal, which could bring showers during this important matchup scheduled for Sunday evening.

Earlier in the day, Colombo is expected to experience hot and humid conditions, with the likelihood of thundershowers occurring at various times in the afternoon. The chance of rain is estimated to be between 50 and 70 percent.

The match is scheduled to begin at 7 PM local time. However, some weather models suggest that heavy rain prior to the start could delay the toss or result in a reduction of overs.

While there might be a slight improvement in conditions after 8 PM, intermittent showers may persist throughout the night, keeping both fans and teams on alert.
