ABBOTTABAD: Two young girls died when a house collapsed after heavy rainfall that hit the region recently in the Langrial area of district Abbottabad.

A tragic incident occurred during the recent rains in Langrial Mohalla Teri, within the jurisdiction of the Nara police station. The back wall of a house collapsed, burying two girls under the rubble. The deceased girls, both daughters of Saif-ur-Rehman, were Nayab, approximately 14 years old, and Fatima, around 10 years old.

Saif-ur-Rehman, along with his wife Asma and their daughter Tayyaba, were injured in the incident and were promptly taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Upon receiving the report, the local police station’s SHO, Tanveer Khan, and a team of officers quickly arrived at the scene to initiate rescue operations in collaboration with rescue teams. Efforts are ongoing to remove the rubble and evacuate the injured, while precautions are being taken to cordon off the area to prevent any further danger.
