Security forces in Balochistan have completed an intelligence-based operation, Radd-ul-Fitna-1, against Indian-backed terrorists, resulting in the deaths of 216 terrorists.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), these terrorists were targeting women, children, and other innocent civilians in Balochistan.

The ISPR stated that on January 29, security forces quickly acted upon credible information regarding the presence of terrorists in the outskirts of Panjgur and Harnai. During operations against terrorist sanctuaries, 41 terrorists were killed, and subsequently, the covert structure of the terrorist network was dismantled through extensive search and clearance operations.

The statement emphasised that through careful planning, coordinated operations, and actionable intelligence, security forces significantly disrupted the leadership, command and control structure, and operational capabilities of the terrorists. Foreign-made weapons, ammunition, explosives, and other equipment were also recovered, indicating that the terrorists were receiving systematic facilitation and logistical support from outside.

According to the ISPR, 36 innocent civilians, including women and children, lost their lives during the acts of terrorism, while 22 brave personnel from the security forces and law enforcement agencies sacrificed their lives. The ISPR paid tribute to their bravery, professionalism, and unwavering determination, expressing solidarity with the families of the martyrs.

The Pakistan Armed Forces reiterated their commitment to combating terrorism in all its forms under the National Action Plan of the Government of Pakistan, stating that counter-terrorism operations will continue with full vigour until terrorism is completely eradicated.

The ISPR described the operation as a symbol of the unwavering resolve of the people of Balochistan, who favour peace over violence, unity over chaos, and development over division.
