The president of the Insaf Lawyers Forum (ILF), Qazi Anwar Advocate, has resigned from his positions within the ILF and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) due to his disillusionment with the party.
A prominent lawyer and political activist, Qazi Anwar Advocate, has stepped down from the provincial presidency of the Insaf Lawyers Forum in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and from all PTI committees.
In a video statement, he expressed that the current leadership of the party has not only insulted him but has also caused him significant mental distress.
He further stated that the manifesto PTI initially promised to implement is no longer being upheld, which has made it impossible for him to continue working with the current leadership. Qazi Anwar Advocate emphasised that his decision is not personal; rather, it is intended to protect the party’s principles and manifesto.
It is worth noting that Qazi Anwar Advocate is a well-respected figure in Pakistan’s legal and political landscape, having been closely associated with the Insaf Lawyers Forum.
