DOHA: Qatar Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence, Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al Thani, met with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir during his visit to Qatar.
The two leaders engaged in comprehensive discussions on various topics of mutual interest, including ways to enhance cooperation in the defence sector between Pakistan and Qatar. They also reviewed regional and international developments during their meeting.
Senior military officials from both countries were present as well.

The leaders of Muslim countries have assured Qatar of their full support in taking retaliatory measures against Israel.
According to a joint statement issued at the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha. The summit strongly condemned Israel’s illegal attack on Doha.
The declaration highlighted that Israel’s cowardly attack on Qatar damages prospects for peace in the region, and the attack on a neutral mediator is a threat to peace efforts.
The joint statement praised Doha’s wise stance and response in dealing with the attack and supported efforts by Qatar, Egypt, and the United States to stop the aggression in Gaza.
Earlier, leaders at the emergency summit said Israel has crossed all red lines and must be held accountable for violating the UN Charter and international laws. They stressed that solving the Palestinian issue is essential for peace in the Middle East and called for practical steps to stop Zionist aggression.
