DOHA: The leaders of Muslim countries have assured Qatar of their full support in taking retaliatory measures against Israel.
According to a joint statement issued at the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha. The summit strongly condemned Israel’s illegal attack on Doha.
The declaration highlighted that Israel’s cowardly attack on Qatar damages prospects for peace in the region, and the attack on a neutral mediator is a threat to peace efforts.
The joint statement praised Doha’s wise stance and response in dealing with the attack and supported efforts by Qatar, Egypt, and the United States to stop the aggression in Gaza.
Earlier, leaders at the emergency summit said Israel has crossed all red lines and must be held accountable for violating the UN Charter and international laws. They stressed that solving the Palestinian issue is essential for peace in the Middle East and called for practical steps to stop Zionist aggression.

Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, welcomed the leaders and said that Israel has committed crimes against humanity and that resolving the Palestinian issue is key to regional peace.
